Open Claw ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Open Claw mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
Account Information When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID email address (or a private relay email if you choose to hide your email) and a unique user identifier. This information is stored securely in our authentication provider (Supabase).
Usage Data We collect basic usage data including daily message counts and subscription status to enforce plan limits and improve the App. This data is not sold or shared with third parties.
Chat Messages Chat messages are processed through our backend server and forwarded to AI providers (Google Gemini) to generate responses. Messages are not stored on our servers beyond the duration needed to process the request. Chat history is stored locally on your device only.
API Keys (Bring Your Own Key) If you use the Beast tier and provide your own API keys for third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI), these keys are stored exclusively in your device's iOS Keychain. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. API requests using your keys are sent directly from the App to the respective AI provider.
Calendar and Reminders If you grant permission, the App accesses your device's Calendar and Reminders to create events and reminders on your behalf. This data stays on your device and is managed by Apple's EventKit framework. We do not collect or transmit your calendar or reminder data to any server.
Microphone and Speech Recognition If you use Voice Mode, the App accesses your device's microphone and Apple's Speech Recognition framework to convert your voice to text. Audio is processed on-device by Apple's frameworks and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers.
